Elegy

for Two Cellos

Composed in February 2024, Elegy for two cellos was written in memory of Max Huls, a violinist and friend. Max Huls was one of the most inspirational musicians I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and his enthusiasm for music was unmatched. I was very sad to hear of his passing and immediately knew that a memorial piece was needed.

Elegy was publicly premiered on June 15, 2024 at a concert put on by Victor Minke Huls and Linda Minke in memory of Max Huls. It has received additional subsequent performances.
